Kokoro Constitution
Repository: https://github.com/happykokoro/kokoro-constitution
Kokoro Constitution is the engineering governance framework for Kokoro Tech. It defines the standards, processes, and rules that apply to all engineering work across the organization.
Purpose
Engineering teams accumulate informal norms over time. The constitution externalizes those norms into a document that can be referenced, debated, and amended. This makes governance explicit rather than implicit.
The framework covers areas such as:
- Engineering standards and conventions
- Development processes
- Review and audit requirements
- Rules for how the framework itself can be changed
Relationship to other projects
The Kokoro Claude Skills project implements automation for some of the audit and review processes defined here. The constitution is the policy layer; the skills are part of the tooling layer.
Status
Under development. The framework is not finalized. Content and scope are subject to change.
